Why can’t google chrome, firefox, or safari “connect to the internet”?

Asked by: 104 views Computer Security

I’ve been using google chrome for over a year now, and it was working perfectly fine until the new year started. I unistalled it thinking I could reinstall it and it would be okay. Nope, I was wrong. It won’t even download. So I decided I would just use Safari. Then, I updated that bad boy, and now it isn’t working either. I downloaded firefox thinking that would work. NO! it didn’t work. I’m using internet explorer and that’s not letting me connect to certain links I need to connect to for school purposes! I can’t afford a new laptop because I am a poor college student (irnoic I know, a POOR COLLEGE student). Each of these (chrome, safari and firefox) all say they can’t connect to the internet. Can somebody PLEASE help me out. THANK YOU!

It should come up with a list of suggestions why such as ‘make sure your firewall is connected to the internet’ or ‘make sure you haven’t typed a spelling mistake in the url’. Another thing is, your internet connection might be broken or something is faulty.

It might be your internet connection is bad, since college wireless is notoriously crappy.
Or perhaps you have a virus, try running some antivirus software.
