Tax question! What is the difference between accepted and acknowledge?

This is the update received from Turbo Tax please explain thanks
The filing has been transmitted to the agency and the agency has accepted (but not acknowledged) the filing. The system is now waiting for an acknowledgment message from the agency regarding the filing.

    They sent your return to the IRS successfully, but the IRS has not yet responded.

    Accepted means your return had been received. Acknowledged means your return has been processed by IRS as a complete return.

    It simply means the IRS has acknowledged the receipt of your efiled tax return. It has not been accepted and processed.
