Stuck with Babylon search engine..?

Asked by: 161 views Computer Security

Okay so here’s the thing. I needed to download something and I ended up stuck with the Babylon search engine. I tried to remove it from control panel- programs it didn’t work. Then I tried to remove it from tools- extensions and it didn’t work either. Then I tried going through settings- manage search engines, I removed it from there and selected Google. I opened my browser and Babylon was still there. I don’t know what else I can do to remove this search engine… I have Google Chrome though.

I’ve been offered Babylon search engine many times. I simply decline the offer. Try doing a System Restore to a time before you got it.

You can remove toolbars and application in chrome by clicking on the tool underneath the x for closing, then going to display, this will open up a new tab. From here you can change your search engine to google or yahoo!
