My back button is broken because of some ad.doubleclick.net thing. Help?

On some sites, I hit back and it doesn’t go back. I hold my click over it to see what is up and there are a ton of pages titled as.doubleclick.net and some various characters after. I’ve also noticed it only happens to one of my Yahoo accounts, and it shows different things if it begins on other sites. I tried looking into it, but I couldn’t find anything other than something telling me to block third party cookies. That didn’t do anything. And I’m not sure, but I think my computer is going slower too. What can I do about this and what does it even mean?
