I want to download microsoft security essentials for security but have avg free on my computer. i can’t unins?

   download AVG again then reinstall it over the top of what’s already installed that should then reset AVG so you should be able to uninstall it then install MSE.
   don’t install MSE until AVG has gone or you’ll have problems

   Of course you can uninstall it. Just go to control panel>add & remove programs>unintstall.

   why u can’t uninstall it ? can u tell us what error message is it giving u when u are uninstalling it ?
   are u doing is correctly ?

   to uninstall avg correctly go to “Control Panel” -> Programs and features
   and then look for ur AVG and the uninstall it .

   if that’s not working then try to run the setup of avg then there it will give u the three options “modify” “repair” or “remove” , just select “remove ” and it will be removed

   and MSE is one damn good antivirus.

   and no if u use MSE over ur AVG it will mess up ur computer so first uninstall avg then install MSE
