how to remove apype.com and starwebsearch.com unwanted malware?

Asked by: 117 views Computer Security

Apype.com takes over homepage and shows starwebsearch as start page. Changing homepage makes no difference each new start comes up with apype.com and then starwebsearch.com.
Online searches come up with various solutions but most are just trying to sell malware programmes.
Has anyone successfully removed this issue ?

I’d suggest both (100% FREE and safe to use with most, if not all anti-virus software) of the following malware removal programs and two I always install on my personal computers. They DO have Pro versions, though despite what some may try to tell you, the removal of found infections IS done by the free versions.

    MalwareBytes ( http://www.malwarebytes.org/ ) And Super AntiSpyware ( http://www.superantispyware.com/ )

(one main difference between the free and pro versions is the “real time” (always running in the background) scanning for malware)

I am sure one (if not both) of these programs will fully remove the malware.
