How do I wipe the Hard Drive of everything EXCEPT Win XP Pro and MS Office 2003?

Asked by: 41 views Computer Security

I am selling my Dell Dimensions E310 on eBay and need to wipe everything from the Hard Drive except Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003. How do I wipe everything else including personal information from the Hard Drive and in the Registry? I do not have the WIN XP install disk so completely wiping the HD is not an option. I am uninstalling programs using Iobit Uninstaller which has an advanced option that gets rid of everything in the Registry and on the Hard Drive, but how do I get rid of the personal info that is on the HD and in the Registry? I’m a complete newbie at uninstalling to such a degree.
