Has anyone actually received their direct deposit tax refund today?

I filed with Turbo Tax and my refund was accepted on the 17th. It says it is supposed to be there this morning, and its not. I bank with Wells Fargo, I don’t know whether they hold it or not, has anyone else gotten the date of the 25th and not received their deposit? I was actually given the date of the 25th on the cycle chart, but got another day of January 31 on my email. Direct Deposit should only take eight days.

    NO I did mine through HR block online and it was accepted the 17th Per Irs refund schedule should have recieved today per the WMR page it says 31st. I called HR block they said they show the 30th.

    I’m in the exact same situation as you, but with a different bank. Filed w/ TurboTax, got accepted before the 18th, got an email stating it would be direct deposited on the 25th etc…. I also downloaded the “My Tax Refund” app from Intuit which checks your refund for you… It stated the 27th. IRS WMR states “Before the 31st”.

    Why is it that if something has to do with a big company, a bank or the government we get jerked around with and misled!!! If we owed them they’d threaten us with jail time, being sued and all that BS.

    Same situation. my taxes were accepted on Jan. 17th and the irs said that I would get dd today the 25th. I bank with Wells Fargo and got nothing. I called the bank and they said they do not put holds on irs checks. They just didnt deposit it. Go figure.

    Nope.

    Mine was accepted on 17th as well. Usually in the past years it has always been available in “pending” funds in my bank account the morning that was projected in refund cycle chart, but this morning nothing. =’( I was hoping to get new tires put on my car today…looks like it isn’t going to happen. And WMR hasn’t updated for me either, still shows still processing…Boo.

      We filed ours on the jan 17, 2012 and they said it would be direct deposited on the 25th. It’s now the 31 and still NOTHING. what is the deal? Guess they are going broke. I am schduled to be married on feb 17th and waiting on irs to pay for the wedding. WONDERFULL. can’t reserve anything without the big check from irs. This is not cool. Anyone one file on the 17th get their refund yet, dd?

    I got my state refund back this morning, dd in my wells fargo. Still says 31st though. IRS sucks.

    I filed IRS and it was accepted 17th through Tax Act and I am still waiting for it. I bank with Wells Fargo and I am also still waiting for State Taxes for California

    Its 1pm PST and still No direct deposit. It was accepted Jan 17th 2012.

    Nothing here either. Filed with TurboTax and the IRS schedule says today, the 25th, but the WMR still shows by the 31st. I use Chase and they don’t hold IRS deposits. In years past, my refund was deposited in the early morning hours on the day the chart showedthe direct deposit would be sent. There is nothing pending in my account. My little one’s birthday is this weekend so I still have my fingers crossed. I heard the IRS was using a new system this year. Seems to be broken. lol.

    I work in the federal building here in Dallas, and a friend of mine who works for the IRS . He sated that they r using new software that apparently has a lot of hiccups. I filed on the 17th and got nothing on the 25th.. He said wmr shows the 31st but it will actually direct deposited on Friday the 27th @ noon eastern time…

    My federal return was accepted on 01/17/12 and of course the chart says I should receive my refund on 01/25/12. But the WMR site says by 01/31/12. I just spoke with someone at the IRS, and they said that they have received my information and it has not been processed yet to give it more time (up to 3 weeks).

    I also asked if there is a specific day refunds go out and she said “NO”

    It is pretty frustrating to not get a direct absolute answer. I should of told her “Its my money and I want it NOW!” I dont think I would of gotten a good response.

      Don’t worry about that! I speak from experience…it just means that you checked it too many times within a certain period. It will reset.

    The reason everyone is getting conflicting dates is because your tax preparer is giving you an estimate and what you need to go by is the irs because h&r block or efile or john next door who did your taxes for you is not the government

    I am in the exact same boat! I received an email this morning from H&R block stating that there is a week delay because of the new system they are using. This is a statement from irs dated 1/26, hope it helps. http://content.govdelivery.com/bulletins/gd/USIRS-282378

    we filed ours on the 17th said we would get it the 25, now says 31, what is the deal with the irs and all the run around? I have a wedding to plan for feb 17th. Can’t with out the big irs check. Hoow wonderfull. Anyone get their refund today who filed their taxes the 17th?

    Every body gonna get their refund Just be patient bcuz at the end of the day/discussion our refund is gonna come when the IRS decide to release it!

      You are right, I guess everyone is getting impatient, but some people need their taxes, because this economy hasn’t been anyone’s friend. No matter what we do, the government do what ever they want to do when they want to do it. So I hope everything work out for everyone. I just thank GOD all my bills are paid and not behind.
