Has Anybody Been Given A Direct Deposit Update For Irs Return?

Wow Its Only Been 3 Days Since Accepted And I just called this morning January 20th to check status of my refund and it tells me it will be DD on january 24 and if i dont have it by the 29th to contact them. My girlfriend also sent hers in the same day but still has the processing update for hers…

    No, mines is still processing and it was accepted on the 18th. But I do find it odd that they DD on 01/24 when the schedule clearly states that taxes Accepted on 17th and 18th by 11 am would DD on 01/25. Hmm, guess they are processing refunds faster this year.

    My refund was accepted on the 18th and as of 6 am it the WMR website said it was processing and would be dd by 2/7 which is a week later than expected. However I just checked again and it NOW says there is no information on me…

      I filed my taxes on the 17th and was accepted on the 18th. I checked my status on the 19th and it stated that I was going to receive a direct deposit on 2/7. I can not understand why it would take two weeks to get my deposit. I’m very confused by the processing this year.

    I’d have to say that you lucked out. I filed Jan 17 and my WMR says that I’m not deposited til 2/7/12. I thought that filing on 1/17 would give me the edge.

      It likely says you will receive it by February 7th, not that your direct deposit will be on the 7th. The direct deposit information isn’t there yet. So because the deposit date is the 1st and the paper check date is the 3rd. They are giving the date of February 7th to allow time for either/or. Next week it will likely update with direct deposit information and give you the date of the 1st. Also, the cutoff for the Jan. 25th date was 11am on the 18th. So if yours was accepted after 11am on the 18th, you will get direct deposit on the 1st.

    Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on January 24, 2012. If your refund is not credited to your account by January 29, 2012, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until January 29, 2012 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then.

    Mine says 24th also but, I thought the irs only deposits on fridays does that mean will get it that friday?
