Extremely annoying virus… please help! ?

Asked by: 106 views Computer Security

I have a virus on my laptop that will not let me open my interne browser (FireFox, nor explorer) I tried running a previous cleaner thing my mom installed called (spybot) which doesn’t really seem to work every since she installed it every single time i open my browser and Google something it takes me to a completely different page that has nothing to do with what I initially googled. I always have to click the back button and it will take me to my desired page, this again only started happening after I installed spybot.
How can I download an AntiVirus when i cannot even access the internet?
And what should I do about the spybot thing?

Please only serious answers, thank you very much in advance! :o )

The stage that the computer virus is in seems deadly to your system. It has control over your programs. Unless you can go in and find the infected file and erase it, you may be in some trouble. Take it to your loçal computer shop and tell them what’s wrong. Worst comes to worst they may have to flash your computer :/

1: Why the hell would you use internet explorer, I think thats your first issue.
#2: Go checkout ZoneAlarms, pretty much kills of any virus.

Get these from another computer, transfer them to yours via jump drive.. Run combofix first, then once it finishes, run malware bytes.

    http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

That should take care of your problem.

Download an anti-virus on another computer and install it on your PC in safe mode.

Check out Avast!, AVG, McAfee.. etc.

Spybot is supposed to be an anti-spyware/virus tool, so it seems you have installed an infected copy. I suggest you try to uninstall it. If this fails you should start in safe mode with networking on a wired connection and download the free scanner from http;//mawarebytes.org and run the full scan. Then you will need to get yourself a good active anti-virus/spyware. AVG from http://free.avg.com, Avast, Avira. One of these will do.

You will have to get these tools to your computer by using a good computer, and putting them on a cd/dvd, or usb flash drive, or you can try to download them by going into safe mode with networking.

Run these tools in this order.

    1. Rkill, it’s a small executable, no need to install. Read the description to see why you should run it.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

    2. After rkill has run successfully, run TDSSKiller, another small executable that should remove the redirect. Here is the direct link:

    3. Install, and run a full scan with MBAM, it’s free:

    http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4716-malwarebytes-anti-malware.html

You should now be able to install any program you like, and run any scan you like.

Hi there. That was very horrible, trying to fix something but the situation gets even worse. I better suggest if you will take sometime to have a quick scan of your PC. In that way, you can detect the problem in your system and know what needs to be repaired.

Here is one to look at:
